Chesen Electronics Corp. (CEC) was established on December 30, 1986, in Banqiao, Taipei County, Taiwan. Over nearly four decades, the company has undergone a deliberate and strategic transformation — evolving from an electronics distribution company into a vertically integrated SoC IC design authority.
The pivotal moment came in 1999 when CEC acquired its current headquarters at the Far East Century Plaza and established dedicated IC design engineering divisions. This marked the company's formal transition into a professional System-on-Chip (SoC) IC design company — a distinction that sets it apart from typical fabless semiconductor firms by offering full vertical integration from application design through system design to IC design.
Today, CEC holds over 41 patents across multiple jurisdictions and maintains Apple MFi authorization. The company's vision is to become Asia's foremost professional encryption "Information Security Development Platform" design company.
